At Resource One we believe a strong community is one which shares. This belief manifests itself in our deep-seated respect for those artists, authors and developers who choose to contribute to our common culture by releasing their works under freedom respecting licences.

We see ourselves in a unique position to help those contributing to open culture to amplify their impact. This is why Resource One is currently accepting Western Canadians who release their work under copyleft licences, such as Creative Commons or the GPL, as clients without referral. Depending on the financial situation of the author, we may be prepared to help these individuals or small businesses manage their disputes on a reduced fee or pro bono basis.
